Conceived as a natural extension of interior comfort into open-air living, the Ova8.rope is an expansive modular element from the versatile Ova Collection, co-designed by YAAZ Lab & Angelettiruzza. As one of the ten distinct modular pieces that define the collection, it brings architectural poise and adaptable elegance to both private terraces and upscale hospitality environments.
The signature character of this module lies in its tactile warmth: the sweeping backrest is enriched with finely woven acrylic rope, presenting one of three distinctive backrest variations available for the Ova8 module. Supported by a lightweight yet highly durable powder-coated aluminum frame, the structure ensures uncompromised weather resistance and lasting stability. Whether curated as a standalone statement daybed or combined into expansive lounge configurations, the Ova8.rope reflects YAAZ’s core philosophy—generous dimensions, effortless functionality, and refined simplicity.

yaaz lab + angelettiruzza design
At angelettiruzza, we added some technical touches to this modular furniture set designed by Yaaz Lab. During this process, we considered functionality and comfort, allowing for dozens of different combinations for different spaces.
The Ova Collection fully meets YAAZ's core philosophy of simplicity and functionality. We were extremely generous with sizing throughout all stages of design and production. As a result, we've developed a highly functional product model that prioritizes comfort.
